You can pick up (and bring back) the crash pads at the club alpine Français, also known as CAF. This is a well organized refuge in oukaimeden, super close to the boulder spots. The manager Rachid speaks English but most other employees do not speak English. If you enter the village, after you passed the lake, the refuge is on your righthand side, just a hundred meters before the shops and restaurants.

Please be aware that without a voucher you DO NOT get your crash pad at the rental pick up location (CAF). They will also never accept cash payment at their counter! So make you get in contact with me before upon arrival.

You might encounter a language barrier at the CAF. This can lead to diffilcuties getting your pads. To smoothening this process a bit I wrote a letter (see download below 'Lettre Caf ...) that you can show them when they do not understand you properly (printed version of the letter works best).

You can pick the crash pads up in Oukaimeden itself at the Club Alpine Francaise (CAF). In case you stay in Chalet Mostapha I will make sure they are already at the chalet. Imiksimik had also some pads stored at the Aurocher Hotel. Aurocher located 20 minutes downhill from Oukaimeden (direction Marrakech).
